At Kim's Kids Learning Corner, we offer high-quality care and educational programs for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We are committed to providing an environment where your child can thrive, feel safe, and have fun.
Our services include:
Infant & Toddler Care ( 6 weeks to 2 years old)
We provide a nurturing and safe space for your baby to explore and grow. With our low child-to-caregiver ratio, your infant will receive individualized care and attention, fostering a secure bond that sets the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Using the Mother Goose (Brightwheel) curriculum, we focus on building early literacy, social skills, and creativity in a hands-on, playful learning environment. Our goal is to prepare your child for school while fostering a love for learning
Preschool & Pre-K (2 to 5 years old)
Full - Day Care
We provide care throughout the day, from early morning until evening, with meals included (breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack). Whether your child is learning, playing, or resting, we create a supportive environment to keep them happy and healthy throughout the day. We believe in offering healthy, balanced meals for your child. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included in our services to ensure your child is energized and ready to learn. Our hours are Monday-Friday 5:30am-6:30 pm.
Before & After School Care (5 to 12 years old)
We offer before and after-school care for children attending Barnhart Elementary, Wade Elementary, Berry Elementary, and Billingsly Elementary. We also accept children from other schools in Waldorf, La Plata, and Accokeek on a case-by-case basis. Our before and after-school care includes safe transportation, homework help, snacks, and plenty of time for fun activities.
Specialized Care for Children with Autism & Learning/Behavioral Needs
With extensive experience in working with children with autism and various learning and behavior issues, we offer individualized care that supports each child's unique needs and strengths. Our approach is built on patience, understanding, and encouragement..
